Very busy OBGYN practice with 2 docs is looking for an additional OBGYN and they would love to get someone in before next summer 2022, but will wait if need be.. They are looking for a Board Certified/Board Eligible physician who is a team player to join a busy practice in a small community in Illinois, close to the quad cities and about 2.5 hrs from Chicago. The practice offers a very workable call schedule of 1:3 and the doctors admit patients to a community based hospital with 150 beds, a level II nursery and anesthesia in-house. The L&D has a state-of-the-art Birthing Center that includes 16 LDRP rooms, a surgical suite and out-patient rooms, all part of the hospital’s commitment to providing their patients with a comfortable, home-like atmosphere for the entire family. The physicians have access to an expanded nursery with level II nursery capabilities and the latest technology in labor and delivery, fetal monitoring and newborn care. The practice is set in a well-appointed office on the hospital campus, with an extremely efficient office staff and very little turnover. The drs also provide coverage at a Federally Qualified Health Center 1 day weekly. Progressive and innovative surgical opportunities are available. Physicians average 25-30 patients per day, 15-20 deliveries per month per physician and average 10 major surgeries per month and do a good mix of OB and GYN.
