Join a very busy and well established single specialty group of 7 OBGYN physicians looking to add 2 in historic coastal hamlet in Suffolk County, Long Island. This waterfront community is located just 45 miles from NYC and minutes to the Atlantic Ocean!! They have recently taken over the OB deliveries and prenatal for a local 2 person practice and are in discussions with another practice with a high Hispanic patient base so someone with strong Spanish skills would be a huge asset. They employ 2 NP’s and would love to add an additional WHNP or PA with a focus on Women’s Health. They are part of a large group of Women’s Healthcare providers in the NY metro area and each practice operates independently but they present as a large group which enables them to get lower malpractice premiums and higher reimbursement rates. Call will be 1:5 weekdays and 1/7 weekends from home as 3 of the more senior partners do GYN only. They do a good mix of OB and GYN and average about 30 deliveries monthly between the 4 providers so 7-8 per provider per month. The hospital has a Da Vinci Robot and one of the partners in this group is the head of the GYN department so a strong interest in minimally invasive procedures is a plus! Mentoring is part of their onboarding process and physicians scrub together on cases. This is a very lifestyle friendly group and very stable as well – the doctors in this group have been together since inception. They work primarily out of a community hospital and their office is on the campus but they also do some deliveries (albeit rarely) out of a nearby tertiary care facility. Traditionally, they have been a GYN heavy group but their OB delivery numbers are climbing. They offer 4 weeks of vacation, 401K, health benefits, and great earning potential!
