This comprehensive health center seeks to address the whole patient by providing access to most medical specialties, including OBGYN, Peds, Dental, FP, IM, Urgent Care and Pediatrics as well as behavioral health and addiction medicine. Due to expected growth, they are looking to add an additional OBGYN and a Pediatrician. They serve a patient population of about 40,000 and have several offices in Orange County and Sullivan counties and they are continuing to grow. The physicians work out of a 242-bed hospital which houses over 300 physicians and has a level III nursery with all services in house. Their Neonatal intensive care unit is the only one in Orange, Sullivan, and Ulster County. This non-profit organization provides high quality primary and preventative care to the Mid-Hudson Valley Community, and they are looking for providers who are service-focused and are interested in working with a mixed patient population Enjoy all the amenities of metropolitan living and be in close proximity to NYC (a little over 1 hr.) without any of the headaches or high cost of living in a more urban environment. They are affiliated with National Health Service Corp so will pay up to 170K in student loans for candidates who qualify!! There are 7 physicians there now who take OB call so call will be once a week, on average. The group does 650-700 deliveries per year, and they see 20-25 patients per day. They have 1 CNM who see patients in the office but does not take call or do deliveries and they have 1 PA. Offer includes highly competitive salary, incentive program, 40 days PTO including 4 weeks’ vacation, 3 personal days, 8 sick days, 9 holidays and 5 days CME time with 2K stipend.
