Largest OBGYN group in Lancaster and York Counties in PA is looking for additional OBGYN generalists (FT and PT (up to 30 hrs weekly incl. call) ) and at least 1 OBGYN Hospitalist interested in doing no less than 2 12hr in-house shifts weekly (and they may increase if physician is interested in more hrs) due to practice growth and expansion. They currently employ 15 OBGYN providers, 7 NPs and 12 CNMs in Lancaster and 5 OBGYN providers, 2 CNMs and 4 NPs in York – a few of which in both groups either only do GYN or are PT. Call is lifestyle friendly and they do a good balance of OB and GYN, tons of in-office GYN procedures and a good major surgical volume which includes Da Vinci Robotics, MIS and Advanced Laparoscopy. The physicians scrub together and will mentor. The group averages 10-12 deliveries monthly per provider and physicians enjoy a good mix of GYN and work in collaboration with the NPs and CNMs in the practices. The group has multiple offices but physicians do not rotate thru more than 2-3 of them, depending on where they live and their preferences. The group admits to 2 hospitals and both have level III nurseries and all services in-house. They do high risk – there are MFMs in hospital that they refer to too and of course all services in house. They are integrated with a midwifery program so practice does 2500 deliveries and physicians take call in conjunction with the CNMs. This well established, stable and growing group offers great quality of life in a beautiful family-oriented community with easy access to Philadelphia and Baltimore (about an hr from both) and 2 hrs from DC and about 2.5 to NYC.
