Large Regional Medical Center in Union County, NJ seeks two OBGYN Providers to join their dedicated and growing team. This Large Community Teaching Hospital consists of a spacious 20-bed “Mother/Baby” postpartum unit, modern Labor/Delivery/Recovery rooms, Level II Intermediate Care Nursery and full midwifery program for mothers who prefer this option. The Medical Center offers a comprehensive array of dedicated Women’s services including treatment of diabetes, hypertension, multiple births and/or fetal abnormalities. With state of the art equipment, this dedicated team provides extensive treatment throughout a woman’s pregnancy and performs the area’s most advanced ultrasounds and prenatal procedures. The hospital handles approximately 1500 deliveries annually and OBGYN physicians see 25-30 patients per day. The hospital offers it’s OBGYN staff a strong support system of midwives, mid-level staff as well as Neonatologists and MFM physicians who are available 24/7. The OBGYN groups’ responsibilities include covering L&D, private practice and clinic and providers are required to cover the 3 within a 48-hour workweek.
The scheduling will be set up by the Providers themselves to offer a work/life balance and there is no call involved. This position offers a highly competitive base salary, RVU incentives, comprehensive benefits and malpractice insurance which includes tail coverage. The hospital is ideally located just outside of New York City allowing for a reverse commute as well as easy access to International Airports.
